Acceptable Use Policy

Responsible Use of Clearflow Digital Services

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of all Clearflow Digital websites, applications (including Spendly), APIs, and services. It sets forth the rules for acceptable behaviour and prohibited activities to ensure a safe and lawful environment for all users.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Clearflow Digital services, including Spendly, for any of the following:

  • Illegal purposes: Any activity that violates applicable Indian law or international law, including fraud, money laundering, or tax evasion.
  • Abuse of SMS permission: Attempting to use Spendly's SMS permission to read OTPs, authentication codes, personal messages, or any non-transactional content.
  • Reverse engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering any Clearflow application or API.
  • Automated access: Using bots, scrapers, scripts, or automated tools to access or extract data from Clearflow services without express written permission.
  • Interference: Deliberately introducing malware, viruses, or other malicious code into Clearflow systems or attempting denial-of-service attacks.
  • Account sharing: Sharing your account credentials or allowing unauthorised access to your account.
  • Impersonation: Impersonating Clearflow employees, other users, or providing false information during registration or communication.
  • Data scraping: Extracting, harvesting, or copying user data, transaction data, or any proprietary information from Clearflow services.
  • Unlawful financial activity: Using Spendly data to facilitate loan sharking, predatory lending, or any activity prohibited by the Reserve Bank of India.

2. Content Standards

When submitting content through our support forms, contact forms, or any user-generated content channel, you agree that your content shall not:

  • Be defamatory, abusive, harassing, or threatening.
  • Contain hate speech, discriminatory language, or promote violence.
  • Contain false or misleading information.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Contain malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

3. Enforcement

Clearflow Digital reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Issuing a warning or requesting remediation.
  • Suspending or terminating your access to our services without prior notice.
  • Removing or disabling access to any content that violates this AUP.
  • Reporting violations to law enforcement authorities when required by law or when we believe there is a credible risk of harm.
  • Pursuing legal action, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.
Clearflow may monitor service usage patterns to detect and prevent violations of this AUP. Monitoring is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately:

Please include sufficient detail for us to investigate, including timestamps, usernames, and a description of the violation.

5. Consequences

Violation of this AUP may result in immediate termination of your access to Clearflow Digital services, forfeiture of any paid subscription fees (without refund), and legal action. Clearflow reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a violation has occurred. This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
